Just like we make time in our busy social calendars for workouts or beauty appointments, dedicating time to treat your skin at home is a form of self-care worth investing in. Here’s how to create a simple, effective weekly body care routine that leaves you radiant and balanced.
1. TAKE AN EVERYTHING SHOWER
You know the kind of clean; that deep, take-your-time kind of wash which the internet lovingly refers to as the EVERYTHING SHOWER. Set the mood with your favourite playlist, curate some ambient lighting and make it a ritual. Engage the senses with an oil diffuser or candle. This is the moment to wash your hair, pop in a hair mask, double cleanse your skin, clear out your pores, shave for a silky-smooth finish, lather yourself in moisturiser and do all the things you don’t have time for during the week.
2. EXFOLIATE TO RESURFACE THE SKIN
Use a body exfoliator at least once a week to buff away dead skin cells and promote smoother, brighter skin.
