Smooth the Shave Cream generously onto damp skin, lather and glide the Razor with the direction of hair growth and then against it for a clean shave. We recommend air drying your Razor after each use and storing it outside of the shower/bath in between uses. Replace your Refill Blades after 6-8 shaves. Keep out of direct sunlight. Discolouration may occur.
BEC’S SHAVING TIPS
SHAVE WITH THE DIRECTION OF HAIR GROWTH, THEN AGAINST IT
Many of us shave against the grain, but this can cause regrowth to curl back into the follicle. Instead, begin by shaving with the direction of hair growth to ‘trim’ the hair down as close as possible to the skin. This also gives the skin ample time to moisten and soften. After you’ve done this, then shave against the grain to finish off.
TAKE YOUR TIME
Shave with long and gentle strokes, applying a light amount of pressure. If you find yourself really needing to push down, it may be time to change your razor head. A blunt razor head is a recipe for disaster (this can lead to irritation, razor burn, nicks, cuts and ingrowns). We recommend replacing your refill blade after 6-8 shaves.
USE A NOURISHING SHAVE CREAM
We created our Shave Cream to not only protect the skin during shaving, but give back to it. A luxurious, pH-balanced antioxidant formulation, it contains Shea Butter that softens the hair follicle and skin, while Aloe Vera and Avocado Oil soothe and calm.

To be honest, I was fairly skeptical about this razor and everything it claimed to offer however *holy buckets* this is hands down THE best razor I have ever used. And the scent of the shave cream is absolutely divine. That orange blossom smell is just 🤌🏼
The only critism I have is that the razor has elements of plastic on it which I would have hoped to be made out of steel or another long lasting product. Apart from that, I am an extremely happy customer and would recommend to everyone I know.

I have used this razor consistently for four months. Prior to using it I was someone who always had skin irritation after shaving. I loathed shaving because of it. This razor is not only beautiful to use, it has not once given me any irritation. It's given me the smoothest shave I've ever had. Highly recommend if you are sensitive to shaving. The blades lasted a really long time too.

The Lui razor is beautifully designed and gave me a super incredibly smooth, close shave with no irritation. I’m genuinely excited to use it again. Now I find myself patiently waiting for the hair to grow back (which, thanks to this razor, might take a while).
On top of that, the customer service is lovely. So warm and responsive, you can really tell it’s a female-founded brand that cares about the experience & its customers . Shoutout to lovely Alice!!!

This razor is incredible, I can’t believe I used those terrible pink disposable razors for so long!! After only one use, I am never going back. This razor feels so luxurious to use, it is weighted and shaped beautifully to hold in your hand, and the blade is nice and wide so it honestly took me half the time to shave my legs! It is so reasonably priced for what it is, and what a bonus to get the shave cream free with your first order! I am so excited to try the body polish and moisturiser with my next order and create my own LUI ritual!
